got a lathe the other day and after fixing the stuff that needed to fixed around the shop i started playing. i use to have irs under my bike but never could get it to hold so i cam up with this.
it is the gears out of the front end that the axles slide in to. what im going to do is machine the other down to that size( its the same size as the out side of the center of the ring gear) then cut it down but leave a + patter in them. then cut the center of the ring gear out in a + patter so it will be like 4 key ways in it. then just weld it up. after thats done weld the axle seal holders to the side of the rear end. this is as fare as i got lastnight. hope to get some more done tonight.
